System Architecture Review
Large Financial Institution (American)
Conducted a full front to back system architecture review covering the functionality and requirements for regulatory & compliance , trading, operations and financial systems to accommodate new business activity start-ups (Business Areas : Sales & Trading, Fixed Income, Emerging Markets) allowing the co-ordinated output of data for financial reporting requirements following appropriate user acceptance testing (UAT). Systems used were Gloss, PSI, Rolfe & Nolan, Elmbridge, SUN General Ledger Accounts.
Responsible for the documentation of the As- Is and To-Be client operational processes, systems dependencies, functions and MIS reporting methods for the revised business activities. Reconciliation procedures, practices and control methodologies were also put in place on a front to back basis in conjunction with other departments including key business “key performance indicators” (KPI’s).
